Forest Lagoon
Demasoni tank, nice. Mine's planted so no real algae battles with rockwork like that, but curious if the acei and peacocks all get along ok with demasoni being demasoni
Every tank has a story
New tanks, fresh updates, questions, and the people behind them.
Demasoni tank, nice. Mine's planted so no real algae battles with rockwork like that, but curious if the acei and peacocks all get along ok with demasoni being demasoni
Goniopora next to acropora is a bold combo, how's the goniopora holding up long term for you?
How's the apisto doing with the bristlenose in there, any territory issues over the wood? Tank looks great btw, that java fern clump is filling out nice
A year grown in and it shows, monte carlo is packed in there. Is the apisto pair holding territory ok in a 10 or do they need more room than that
How are your params holding up lately? Curious with that dual sponge filter setup on 6 gallons if you find yourself dosing anything or just relying on the water changes
how's the CO2 drop checker looking with the vals in there, mine always melts under high CO2
A five gallon holding a full grown look that long is impressive, are the corys actually happy in that little footprint?
Guppies and blue bolts together, any fry actually making it or are they all snacks
What's your dosing schedule on this one? Low maintenance reef with a chalice and montipora going still surprises me.
Second scape looks way better than most people's first, the hairgrass carpet is doing its job nicely.
How long has this reef been established? That chalice and the gonipora look really settled in
↗
Any aggression out of the six line with the wrasse in such a small footprint
↗
Your cardinal tetras look so good against that green carpet, what's the carpet plant you're using up front?
5 gallons with pressurized CO2 seems like a lot to dial in for such a small volume, how often do you have to adjust it?
The seiryu stone setup is cool but man those celestial pearl danios are tiny little things, love it
Danios look tiny and perfect in there, how long did it take the moss to fill out like that
Rummynose and chili rasbora together sounds like a good time watching that tank. How's the driftwood holding up as substrate, any tannins staining things up?
↗
what schedule you running on the flat nano+? curious if you had to dial back intensity at all with the hairgrass carpeting in that low a tank
That's spiderwood, not manzanita. Controsoil plus pygmy cories is a great combo, mine love picking through fine substrate like that.
Anthias are looking settled in. How's the acropora coloring up under that light?
Royal gramma and that chalice combo is a great look, curious what your flow is running at with just the AquaClear on a 90
Looks like driftwood to me not manzanita, either way the rasboras and cardinals schooling through it must look great, how often are you trimming the sword
how are you keeping the otos fed long term, is there enough biofilm on that inert sand or do you supplement
How are the otos doing with the sword and rotala grown in like that, do they still have room to graze on the glass?
Are the celestial pearl danios holding color ok in a 20? Mine always look washed out under brighter lights.
No CO2 on that apisto tank and the rotala still looks decent. What's your dosing routine on the ferts?
10 gallons for a betta plus that shrimp colony is a fun little world. How has the AquaClear 70 been on flow, did you have to baffle it for the betta
