About

Been running a few months now and it's gone from bare substrate to actual plant coverage. Rotala's filling out, shrimp are everywhere on the dragon stone, neons just chill mid tank ngl

update

Just looking at this tank tonight and honestly pretty happy with it. Rotala's filling out, vals swaying around, shrimp doing shrimp things on the dragon stone. Still a bit of open substrate here and there but not mad about it

Note

first fish in

Added the neon tetras today and immediately regretted looking at them so much. Kept checking if they were hiding or just chilling, hard to tell with neons tbh. Water params seemed fine before adding but still paranoid every hour

IIsabella KellyQuestion

Any shadowing back in the corners with that fixture or does it spread out enough at that depth?

Tank owner replied

It spreads decent for a 10g but yeah corners get a bit dim, crypts don't seem to mind though

Brianna Powell profile photoBrianna PowellQuestion

how's the CO2 drop checker looking with the vals in there, mine always melts under high CO2

VValentina PhamQuestion

How's the blue bolt shrimp doing with the CO2 running? Always wondered if pressurized bothers caridina at all

Tank owner replied

No CO2 on this one tbh just the amazonia and light, shrimp seem totally unbothered either way

TTyler BrooksQuestion

where'd you get the blue bolts, LFS or online?

Tank owner replied

Online, wanted to actually pick the grade instead of whatever's in the LFS tank that day

KKevin GarciaQuestion

sand looks spotless, what's your feeding routine like for those blue bolts

VValentina PhamQuestion

Curious what your CO2 bps is on a tank this small, the rotundifolia looks really tight and compact
