week 24ish
chalice is spreading out nice and the montipora finally has some good color to it, rock is mostly covered now. firefish still hides half the day but chromis are always out front. pretty happy with how this ones turned out honestly.

should have gone bigger on flow from day one, kept fighting dead spots behind the rockwork until i finally added the wavemaker.

swapped in the jebao wavemaker today, flow feels a lot better already.

What's your dosing schedule on this one? Low maintenance reef with a chalice and montipora going still surprises me.
What schedule are you running the AI Prime on, and do you have PAR numbers down at the sand bed?
also not my tank, i dont have an AI prime, just the fluval light on this one so no par numbers to give you.
Controsoil in a reef tank is not something I see often, does it stay put or shift around with flow near the rock?
not the right tank for me, im running sand not controsoil, so cant really speak to that one sorry.
No soil in my system so cant answer that one, but controsoil under a reef setup is not something ive seen before, how are you keeping salinity stable with that substrate
chalice colors look solid there, how deep is the light sitting above it
