week 24
Moss has filled in nicely, still a bit thin in one corner near the stone but otherwise looking close to done.

Celestial pearl danios spend most of their time picking around the seiryu stone, with jade shrimp working the moss and wood in between. It's a quiet little setup - the sword anchors one side, moss has crept over the driftwood, and the assassin snails handle themselves without much input from me.

Added the celestial pearl danios today, small group of them. Work's been a lot lately so it was nice to just sit and watch them for a bit after releasing them - they hung near the driftwood for the first while then slowly started exploring the open water. Tank feels alive now even with the plants still pretty sparse.

How often are you feeding the cpds in a tank that small, worried about overfeeding in 5g
Just a small pinch once a day, sometimes I'll skip a day if work's been busy. Easy to overdo it in 5g so I'd rather underfeed a bit.
How's the WRGB handling that depth, any shadow spots with the seiryu piled up like that?
No real shadow spots that I've seen, the WRGB throws enough spread even with the stone stacked up. Moss on the lower stones is filling in fine so it must be reaching okay.
The seiryu stone setup is cool but man those celestial pearl danios are tiny little things, love it
5 gallons with seiryu stone, nice. Do the shrimp bother the moss at all?
Not really, they mostly just pick through it for biofilm rather than eating the moss itself. Hasn't thinned out any that I've noticed.
5g with celestial pearl danios, what are your params sitting at these days?
CPDs in a 5g with that stone work is such a clean combo... They schooling well for you or still shy
The CPDs against that moss look nice. How are the assassin snails handling the bioload in a 5 gallon, any issues keeping up?
