quiet week
Not much happening, just did a filter rinse and moved on. Plants filling out slow but steady, no algae issues, no drama. Kind of a boring update honestly.

Just a planted community tank, tetras and rasbora weaving through rotala and a couple chunks of driftwood, shrimp cleaning up whatever's left.

Added rummynose tetras today, 30 days in. Tank actually feels alive now instead of just a box of water. Watching them school around the driftwood, way more interesting than staring at empty water.

Rummynose and chili rasbora together sounds like a good time watching that tank. How's the driftwood holding up as substrate, any tannins staining things up?
That driftwood piece is a nice shape, real natural looking spread with the val. Is that one piece or did you tie a couple together
Pretty sure that's a different tank than mine, I just run sand and stacked rock, no driftwood in this one
75g with driftwood as substrate is a bold call, curious how that's holding up long term with the rummynose.
Think you've got me mixed up with a different tank, mine's the cichlid one with sand and rockwork, no driftwood substrate here
how's the rotala holding up without co2? mine gets leggy fast if i don't stay on top of trims. crypts and val look like a solid backbone for the rummynose to school through.
Mixed it up with another tank I think, mine's the 55g demasoni setup, no rotala or co2 here lol
75 gallons and no CO2, rummynose still that red? mine wash out without it
