heater swap
old heater was reading off so swapped in a new eheim jager today, box still on the floor by the stand.

the shrimp are what i like watching most, theyre all over the java moss and driftwood picking at stuff constantly. bugs me a little that the crypts melted twice before settling, but the tetras dont seem to mind either way.

hairgrass is finally spreading and the crypts pushed some new leaves, moss is filling out on the wood too. hygrophila pinnatifida is the one lagging, barely any new growth and a couple older leaves melted off, not sure if its light or just adjusting still.

The bristlenose pleco probably appreciates all that wood in there. Is that the same driftwood from your first scape or did you switch it up this time
same driftwood actually, cleaned it up and reused it. didnt want to buy new pieces when the old one still looked good, just rearranged it a bit for the new layout.
Second scape looks way better than most people's first, the hairgrass carpet is doing its job nicely.
co2 dialed in nice... hairgrass carpet looks even across the whole tank
