july check in
the dwarf hairgrass has completely taken over the front, way more than i expected this soon. barely any bare substrate left to see. anubias is doing its own thing slower but steady. anyone else surprised by how fast hairgrass spreads?

funny thing about seiryu stone, it looks so light in photos and then it nearly breaks your back. guppies and shrimp seem happy enough with it.

swapped in the new heater today and it was more of a hassle than i expected, had to redo some of the tubing and nearly knocked over a plant getting it positioned right. tank's looking almost full now though so worth it i guess.

Guppies and blue bolts together, any fry actually making it or are they all snacks
Guppy tank that used to be a shrimp tank, ha. What are you dosing these days, just ferts or something for the hairgrass too?
ha yeah started with shrimp and now it's mostly guppies. i'm not dosing anything for the hairgrass, just root tabs in the controsoil once in a while. seems to be enough so far
Started as shrimp and turned into a guppy tank, love that. Whats your water change percentage on the 75, weekly still keeping up with the bioload?
still doing about 20% weekly, hasn't felt like too much even with the guppies breeding a bit. filter seems to keep up fine
Guppies look happy in there. Hows the hairgrass holding up without CO2, mine always melts without it
honestly no idea why but it's not melting at all, just spreading like crazy under the twinstar light. maybe controsoil is doing some of the work for me. knock on wood it stays that way
