CO2 must be dialed in well, the dwarf hairgrass carpet looks so even next to the driftwood.
Every tank has a story
New tanks, fresh updates, questions, and the people behind them.
CO2 must be dialed in well, the dwarf hairgrass carpet looks so even next to the driftwood.
Minnows look happy in there. Is that a full year of growth on the rotala or did you have to restart it at some point?
Endler colors are popping, are they breeding true or getting muddy over generations?
Otos in a 5 gallon, brave lol. How do you keep enough food around for them that small

Dual sponge filters on a planted 29 is a clean setup. Is the flow enough to keep detritus from settling on the sand?
That royal gramma is going to look great darting around once the rockwork fills in. Where'd the bubble tip anemone end up settling?
Otos and blue rili shrimp is a fun combo, do the otos ever bother the shrimp?
↗
where'd you source that sand, is it the caribsea bag from an LFS or online?
Guppies look happy weaving through the hairgrass. Any luck keeping the shrimp population up with them in there?
The chalice coral color under the chihiros is great, how far out is that from the acropora flow-wise?
Demasoni only, no dither fish? Curious how the aggression's been with just the one species in there.
125g of demasoni sounds like a lot of bodies packed in with just sand and no rock mentioned. How do you manage aggression without a ton of rockwork?
Tank looks really settled in, how long has it actually been running? That cardinal school looks dialed in.

What's the light schedule on the twinstar, and have you actually measured PAR at the sand or just eyeballing it
↗

That hardscape looks way too intentional for a second attempt, how many rocks got vetoed before this layout stuck?
What's your weekly water change percentage on this one, running CO2 that heavy I'd guess you need to stay on top of it
Hows the six line getting along with the clowns? Mine got kinda bullish about anything new for the first week
That hardscape with the seiryu stone against the moss is really clean, saving this for whenever I get around to redoing my betta tank.
Clean setup - just the chromis in there so far, or is more stock coming before the tang goes in?
↗
the apistos look great, any fry surviving with the crystal reds in there too?
Endler colors look great against that hardscape, ngl. Is that tannin tint from the wood or are you dosing something?
Chili rasbora shoals always look so good in a scape like this... No CO2 either which makes it more impressive tbh
Fluval stratum shouldnt cause stunting on its own, id look at your micros first. Rotala is usually pretty forgiving even without CO2 in a tank this size
did the ember tetras come from a local shop or online, trying to find a decent group without paying shipping stress on them
