update

Rocks are grown in nicely now, fish look great, tank's finally feeling mature.

Note

fan is loud

Added a cooling fan for summer and it's louder than I expected, might look at a quieter one later.

Brianna Powell profile photoBrianna PowellQuestion

biweekly on a demasoni tank, you brave. how's ammonia holding between changes

SSantiago PhamQuestion

Demasoni are brutal in a 125 if stocking's off, how many you running and any casualties so far?

Dual sponge filters on 125g of demasoni seems like a lot of bioload to lean on sponges alone, how's your ammonia holding up.

Brooke Hassan profile photoBrooke HassanQuestion

Any aggression with just demasoni in there or does the rockwork break up sightlines enough?

Leo Barnes profile photoLeo BarnesQuestion

Demasoni only, no dither fish? Curious how the aggression's been with just the one species in there.

Tank owner replied

Yeah just demasoni for now, aggression's been fine tbh, keeping the numbers up seems to help spread it out

SSantiago PhamQuestion

125g of demasoni sounds like a lot of bodies packed in with just sand and no rock mentioned. How do you manage aggression without a ton of rockwork?

Tank owner replied

Oh I do have rock in there, just didnt list it, caves and piles all over. Couldnt do demasoni without it honestly

Sam James profile photoSam JamesQuestion

Demasoni are so much fun to watch, the constant chasing never gets old. How many are you running in the 125 to keep aggression spread out?

Tank owner replied

Running 12 of them, seems to be the sweet spot so far, nobody's getting singled out too bad
