put ember tetras in a tank i swore would be low maintenance. wrong again. camera stays steadier in my hands than that hairgrass ever has

What gets me is how the ember tetras disappear against the driftwood until they don't, then it's just this cloud of orange moving through the vals. Monte carlo and hairgrass carpet most of the front, moss on the wood doing its own slow thing.

Tranquil Meadow was a joke name at first, tank looked anything but calm during the diatom mess. Kept it anyway. Chromis school around the top of the rock now, five of them, everything else is still just bare frags waiting on the rest of the rock to fill in.
