swapped in the kessil a360x today, box still sitting on the floor next to the stand.

wanted something low(ish) maintenance to throw shrimp and corys in and just watch. UNS rimless, malaysian wood, vals and swords doing their own sprawl thing now, shrimp everywhere in the stratum.

trimmed the sword back and did a water change, that's it.

Hairgrass carpet's looking dense, def not what I'd expect from a tank that 'got out of hand'
Coming from a saltwater setup that shrimp and cory combo looks so low stress to run. How are the blue rilis doing with the corys around, any losses?
Corys look active in that scape. What's your feeding schedule for them, sinking pellets or frozen?
so they get sinking pellets most days, throw in frozen bloodworms maybe twice a week as a treat. they clean up whatever the shrimp miss too.
Fluval stratum shouldnt cause stunting on its own, id look at your micros first. Rotala is usually pretty forgiving even without CO2 in a tank this size
Bronze corys rooting around in that stratum is so cute, do they ever bother your shrimp at all
Did you fight algae getting the stratum broken in, or did it stay clean from the start? Mine always goes through a rough patch around week 3.
Corydoras look pretty content rooting around in there, love that it started as a shrimp tank and just snowballed
