added the white clouds today, first fish in the tank. watching them dart around the hairgrass is stupidly entertaining for how simple it is. feels like an actual tank now instead of a box of plants.

two weeks in and still cycling. nothing to look at, no fish, just green-ish water clearing up slowly. checking params way more than i need to at this point, i know.

water's in, eheim's running. set the fluval heater to 76 for now since it's a shrimp tank eventually, don't want to cook anything down the line. still hazy, plants look tiny and sad in there right now.

so the driftwood placement took way longer than it should've. malaysian wood, kept flipping pieces trying to get something that didn't look like a pile of sticks. no water yet, just sitting there deciding if it's good enough.
