Swapped in the Twinstar 600EA today, box still sitting by the stand. First impressions - way more punch than my old light, plants already look happier under it.

Spiderwood scape built around chili rasboras, Notch included, plus pygmy corys.

Carpet and buce are looking great honestly, but the christmas moss is looking rough, kind of patchy and brown in spots. Not sure if it's flow or light related yet.

Chili rasboras in with pygmy cories is such a good little combo, how long did that Bucephalandra take to fill in
Took the buce about 6-7 weeks to really attach and push new leaves, it's tied to the spiderwood so it's slow but steady growth
Chili rasbora and monte carlo carpet sounds like a nice combo, no CO2 either which is impressive for that kind of growth
No CO2, just the Twinstar running strong and letting it grow slow. Monte carlo's still filling in, not fully carpeted yet
where'd you source that sand, is it the caribsea bag from an LFS or online?
Local guy sells it by the pound, not the bagged caribsea stuff you'd get at an LFS, just picked through a pile for good color
did you fight algae early on with that setup or was it pretty clean from the start
Stone placement is really clean on this one... You tweaking it for a contest or just for yourself
How often are you dosing on this one, and what's the routine
Nothing fancy, just Prime at water changes, 2ml per 10 gallons. No CO2 or ferts dosing on this one right now
