About

Chili rasboras and cardinals doing most of the swimming, with a pretty large bristlenose crew keeping the sword leaves clean.

Note

day 85

Carpet and moss are filling in a lot faster than I expected.

Note

day 30

Added the first chili rasboras today, bag's floating up top acclimating. Only a handful of them but the tank already feels alive. Trying to think of names for them lol, probably won't stick.

Controsoil plus no CO2 and your rotala still looks that red? Kind of surprised, mine leggy under similar light

No CO2 and it looks that clean? Kind of jealous, my chili rasboras would just hide the whole time in a tank like this

No CO2 and the rotala still holds color like that, nice. How's the chili rasbora doing with the bristlenose in there, any issues with them being shy around each other?

Chili rasbora shoals always look so good in a scape like this... No CO2 either which makes it more impressive tbh

Dry start for sure, right? That carpet is way too even for a flood and pray. How many weeks before you started trimming it

IIsabella KellyQuestion

Chili rasboras all from one source or did you slowly add them over time? Curious how that shoal built up

Brianna Powell profile photoBrianna PowellQuestion

no CO2 and chili rasbora doing fine? what's your nitrate sitting at, curious how lean you're running it

Tank owner replied

No CO2 here either, just letting it run lean. Haven't tested nitrate in a bit honestly, should probably do that. Rasboras seem happy enough though
