Tank's looking pretty full these days, plants really growing in.

Wanted a scape for the seiryu and dragon stone I kept staring at. Betta and jade shrimp ended up sharing it.

Swapped in the inkbird controller today, box still on the floor by the stand. Wasn't expecting it to click as loud as it does when it kicks the heater on, kind of annoying at night honestly.

Second scape looks way tighter than I'd expect for a betta tank this size. How's the halfmoon handling the seiryu stone layout, plenty of open swimming room?
He's got enough room, still plenty of open water up front. Stone's mostly stacked to one side.
params looking stable? always curious how a 10g betta scape holds nitrates week to week
That hardscape with the seiryu stone against the moss is really clean, saving this for whenever I get around to redoing my betta tank.
bucephalandra's grown in nicely on that stone. any melt on the pinnatifida when you first planted it?
No melt at all actually, took off pretty fast. Buce is glued to the stone and just slowly spreading, no issues.
How's the halfmoon doing around the jade shrimp, no fin nipping or anything?
No nipping so far, he mostly ignores it. Shrimp just hangs out in the moss most of the time anyway.
seiryu stone in a betta tank is different, does it raise your hardness much or has it been stable
Seiryu stone as substrate is a cool choice for a betta setup. Any concerns with it affecting hardness over time?
