been running since last summer, and the wood's darker now, moss finally thick enough to hide the anubias threads underneath. sword leaves get trimmed back every few weeks or they shade everything out. rummynose and harlequins school together most of the day, white clouds keep to the upper corners. dosing flourish light, nitrates hover around 15ppm - ramshorns showed up on their own and i've stopped trying to remove them.

Just a planted community tank, tetras and rasbora weaving through rotala and a couple chunks of driftwood, shrimp cleaning up whatever's left.

hairgrass and buce over stone and wood, that's the whole idea here. the buce has properly settled onto the wood now, hairgrass still has a few gaps but it's filling. white clouds ended up in instead of the rummynose i originally wanted, worked out fine, they shoal nicely against the green. amano shrimp keep the glass tidy between algae scrapes. kessil's on a shorter photoperiod these days after it got away from me a bit.

Java fern and bucephalandra tied to the wood, moss filling in around the base, guppies and rummynose keep it busy

Replaced a sad little starter tank that never held a plant longer than a week. Dragon stone anchors the scape now, with vallisneria and java fern actually taking hold instead of melting away. Rummynose and CPDs school through the middle while a small army of bristlenose keep the glass honest.

Rinsing the stratum was a disaster, water went brown instantly and I had to redo it three separate times before it cleared up enough to use. Spiderwood and rocks are arranged around it now, tucked in with vallisneria and bucephalandra filling in the gaps. Rummynose tetras claimed the spiderwood area pretty much immediately, guppies and endlers just kind of wander everywhere, and the rili shrimp show up more than I expected.

The rummynose are the reason this tank exists, nine of them schooling tight along the driftwood most of the day. Corys work the sand behind them. Moss and rotala fill in around the roots, nothing dramatic, just a calm 15g.

Rummynose are the ones that make this tank for me, the whole shoal turns and stops together like it's rehearsed. Neons fill out the mid layer underneath them. Monte Carlo's finally knitting together up front, still a few gaps but way fewer than it used to be. Moss on the branch has thickened up and stopped looking so stringy. Pinnatifida gets a trim most weeks or it goes leggy fast. Runs on ADA Amazonia, which explains the occasional soil dust after a heavier vacuum.
