gear swap
Put the fluval heater in, old one was inconsistent.

Rock, water, a couple wrasses.

Compared to a couple months ago this thing looks totally different, rock's mostly covered now and the zoas have actually spread. Remember when it was just bare white rock, wild.

Curious what schedule you're running the solar RGB on for that setup, the wrasse and gramma look really settled in there.
Honestly haven't dialed in a real schedule, just running it on a basic on/off timer, nothing fancy. Work's been too busy to mess with ramps
Your six line and the royal gramma actually coexisting peacefully? Mine terrorized everything smaller when I added him. Chalice colors look great btw.
Yeah so far no issues, gramma mostly hangs by the rock and the six line just zooms around. Maybe just lucky, tank's still young
Second scape in a 40 breeder and it shows, that zoa colony is spreading fast. Dosing alk manually or auto?
Manual for now, just eyeballing it every couple weeks with a test kit. No doser on this one, too small a tank to bother yet
cave layers look great - is that dragon stone or something else? curious how you got the layering so clean without it looking stacked.
Yeah dragon stone. Just kept restacking it till the layers looked right, no glue, took way longer than expected honestly
Curious about that anemone with hammer and zoas so close by, mine never sit still long enough to be safe next to other corals. Any stinging issues?
How are you feeding the bubble tip and the wrasse without them fighting over food? Mine's chaos at feeding time lol
Not really an issue, nem stays put in one spot and I just target feed it with a pipette, wrasse is too busy picking at rock to bother
