new light hum
Swapped in the twinstar today... Box still on the floor by the stand. Noticeably quieter than what I had before, or maybe I just forgot how loud the old one was.

Been running a while now and it's changed a lot since the dry start... Dragon stone's mostly buried under moss and buce, embers school tight in the open water, otos graze the glass. Way more shrimp than I planned on.

Hair algae and some green spot crept in on the glass and a few leaves so I blacked it out for a couple days and cut the photoperiod after... Plants underneath look fine, just an eyesore right now.

Yeah dragon stone loves to grow the green fuzz early on. Did it clear up once the otos and shrimp got established or you still fighting it
Not my tank actually, that one's someone else's setup... But from what I've seen dragon stone green fuzz usually calms down after a few weeks once things balance out
Ember tetras look great in that scape, any fry surviving with the shrimp in there too?
That's not my setup, don't know about fry survival there
Tannins are giving it a great look, is that from the dragon stone or are you dosing something for the color?
Not my tank, no idea on that one
any drama between the embers and otos or everyone just doing their own thing?
That one's not mine, can't answer for it sorry
That dragon stone stack is doing a lot of work. Where'd the piece with the ledge come from, looks like it was cut for that spot
Different tank than mine, so I can't say where that piece came from
The dragon stone in this one looks really nice with the crypts and bucephalandra... Are you dosing anything or just relying on the sponge filters and water changes?
That's not mine, mixed it up with another tank I think... Can't speak to the dosing on that one
