Not a lot of hands-on time goes into this one - a top off and a glance at the glass most days is about it. The goby pair chase each other around the rock and the clownfish just holds its spot near the hammer. Coralline keeps spreading, coming in slow on its own without me doing much of anything.

day 62
Noticed some hair algae and green spot showing up on the glass and rock this week, plus brown diatoms on the sand. Think it's probably from overfeeding when I was ghost feeding early on, or maybe the lights are on too long. Not sure yet - going to cut back the photoperiod a bit and see if it helps.

week 4 - new additions
Added my first fish today - a yellow watchman goby. Bag floated at the surface for a while before I let him out. Been trying to decide on a name, thinking something simple. Corals are still small but coralline is starting to show up on the rock which felt like a nice thing to see.
Did you have to fight through an algae phase getting the hammer coral and montipora settled in that 10 gallon? Mine took forever to calm down
Tank owner replied
Not too bad so far - I've got some hair algae and diatoms going on right now actually, but the corals themselves seem fine through it. Hammer opened up pretty quick, montipora took a bit longer to color up. Cutting back the photoperiod a little to see if the algae calms down.
