About

Riverbank Hideout because the dragon stone stack looks like a little bank the endlers duck behind

sept update

170 days in and honestly if I redid this scape I'd leave more open space in front, dragon stone is a little crowded for a 5 gallon. Plants look good otherwise, rotala needs a trim soon

Swapped in the Chihiros WRGB II 60 today, box still on the floor by the stand. Way quieter than I expected, was worried about fan noise but you can barely hear it over the filter

TTina PatelQuestion

Dragon stone in a 5 gal shrimp-turned-corydoras tank, curious if it's pushing your GH up at all, are you cutting with RO

5 gallons and it looks that clean, nice. How do the endlers do in such a small tank?

CCaleb WuQuestion

That dragon stone stack looks great in a 5 gallon... How long did the layout take to settle before you added the corys

Tank owner replied

No corys in there, it's endlers and rili shrimp. Let the scape sit dry a day then flooded and ran it cloudy about a week before adding anyone

Eheim classic in a 5g seems like overkill flow wise, curious how the endlers handle it

DDuc SandersQuestion

Curious what percent you're doing weekly on that 5 gallon, seems like it'd swing parameters fast with that bioload

Tank owner replied

Roughly 20-25% weekly, bioload's light with just endlers and shrimp so it doesn't swing much

Leo Barnes profile photoLeo BarnesQuestion

Started as shrimp only and turned into this? Classic. How's the eheim keeping up in a tank that small, any flow issues in the corners?
