First attempt at this scape had way too much hardscape and nowhere for the amano shrimp to actually roam... Redid it simpler and they clearly approve now.

new heater
Swapped in the eheim jager, old heater was cycling on and off like it had commitment issues... Temp's holding rock steady now. Small upgrade but already less annoyed opening the stand door.

shrimp's got moves
The amano has decided the pinnatifida is personal property and chases off... Nothing, since it's the only inhabitant, but it patrols like there's a threat. Plants are filling the gaps nicely though, carpet's almost solid.
