ugh algae
So we've got an algae outbreak and it's testing me. Rocks are covered, corals still small so there's nowhere for it to hide, just watching green fuzz every morning like it'll leave on its own.

Barely touch this one. Top off, dose alk, done. Gordon and the wrasse handle the rest, apparently.

First fish are in, bag was floating up top acclimating forever. Naming the six line wrasse Gordon because he's already got attitude, firefish doesn't have a name yet, still deciding if he's earned one.

Started as a shrimp tank and turned into a full reef, love that. Is the goniopora new or did it survive the whole transition?
Ha it was never a shrimp tank, might be thinking of a different one. Goniopora's been in since early on, made it through the algae phase and everything so I'm counting that as a win
How's the goniopora doing under the 600EA? Mine sulks unless flow is indirect. Any polyp extension issues in the corners?
Started as a shrimp tank huh... That escalation is relatable. The chalice and zoas look great for 25g, way more than I'd expect out of that footprint
How's the favia and goniopora getting along flow-wise in a 25? Always feels tight fitting LPS and softies without shading each other out.
Firefish goby in a 25g shrimp-tank-gone-wrong is exactly the kind of scope creep I respect... How's the six line getting along with everyone
That chalice color is wild... How far off the sand is it sitting
Couple inches off the sand, wanted it up on the rock where flow's better. Any lower and I think it'd sulk
Zoas and the chalice make a nice contrast in there. How's the goniopora holding up, that genus can be fussy.
