Couple months of running now and the rockwork barely resembles the pile of dragon stone I stacked and restacked that first dry night. Six lines still patrol it like they own the place, and the anthias school around the Eheim flow like clockwork. Went through an algae phase recently that made me question everything, dialed back the lighting and feeding and it's calming down. Work's been slammed so this tank is basically my one relaxing thing lately.

Note
algae is winning right now
Getting a decent algae outbreak, some kind of green film on the glass and a bit on the rock too. Cut back my lighting schedule by an hour and I'm doing an extra water change this week to see if that helps. Also thinking about dialing back how much I'm feeding since work has had me tossing in food and walking away without really thinking about portions. We'll see if any of it actually works.
Note
water change chaos
Did a water change today and somehow managed to splash half a bucket onto the floor, my socks did not survive. Tank's looking pretty good though, rock is mostly covered now and everything looks close to how I pictured it when I started. Hose kept slipping off the fitting which didn't help the flooding situation. Anyway floors are mopped, fish are fine, that's what matters.
Your six line wrasse must love that dragon stone to dart through. Curious if you're running an inline diffuser for co2 or something else, or did I misread the setup
Tank owner replied
No co2 here, this is a saltwater tank so no diffuser needed, just the eheim pump pushing flow around the rock. Wrasse definately loves darting through the dragon stone though, little guy never stops moving.
