water change day
Did a trim on the sword leaves that were browning and a 25% water change. Somehow ended up with more trimmings on the floor than in the tank, wife wasn't thrilled.

Seiryu stone and the Malaysian driftwood took a while to get right, no plants touching rock. Amazon Sword's throwing new leaves weekly, Java Moss filling the wood grain. Guppies and cardinals mix well, 35 Crystal Reds picking through it all day.

Added the bristlenose pleco today, only one so no naming drama, calling him Gus. Seems happy already cruising the driftwood looking for spots to camp out.

Not really a carpet in here but that driftwood pile looks solid, is that all one piece or stacked?
Bristlenose keeping the algae in check that well? Clean carpet for a low-tech tank
Are those crystal reds bred at home or did you source them from the shop? Curious how they're doing with just biweekly changes.
