water change day
Did a trim on the sword leaves that were browning and a 25% water change. Somehow ended up with more trimmings on the floor than in the tank, wife wasn't thrilled.

Added the bristlenose pleco today, only one so no naming drama, calling him Gus. Seems happy already cruising the driftwood looking for spots to camp out.
Water's clear now, cycling along, still no fish in there. Staring at bare substrate every day waiting for something to fill in is rough (I know it just takes time but still).
Got water in finally, a bit hazy right now but expected. Inkbird's set to 78F, holding steady already. Plants are in but sparse, lots of bare substrate showing still. No fish, just running the filter.
Picked up the seiryu stone and malaysian driftwood from the same local place I always go. No water yet, just placing rock and wood over and over til it looked right. Substrate bag's sitting there waiting for tomorrow probably.
