Added the betta today, bag's floating right now to temp match. Keep checking on him every 10 min, probably annoying him at this point. Water's 78F, ammonia reading 0 so figured it was safe enough. Vallisneria still real sparse but he seems fine swimming around it.

Ammonia at 2ppm, nitrite 0.5, nitrate 5. Cycle is moving along. Ph sitting at 7.0. Still no fish, just testing every couple days and topping off from evaporation.

Filled her (the tank, not the wife) up and got the AquaClear running. Heater set to 78F, jager seems to be holding steady already. No plants or fish yet, just cycling water for now.

Got the dragon stone placed how I want it, no water in yet. Wife walked by and asked if I was building a mountain range lol. Stratum's down, just need to fill it tomorrow or the day after.
