About

funny enough the dragon stone did more for the water hardness than my scaping skills did. apistos rule this one now.

Note

new light

swapped in the Kessil A360X fully now as my main light and first impressions are good, way more control over intensity than what i had before. plants seem to be responding already, growth looks a little more upright. still dialing in the settings so it's not blasting the tank.

Note

quiet week

nothing much to report, just routine maintenance.

How's the dragon stone treating your water params? Wondering if it messes with GH at all, or if you cut with RO to keep it stable

Jess Foster profile photoJess FosterQuestion

kessil over a 12g must be way more than needed, how far up did you have to hang it to avoid blasting the front glass

DDuc SandersQuestion

That dragon stone scape looks awesome with the apistos in there. How long did the cacatuoides take to settle in with the tetras?

Apistos and neons together - any fin nipping or has it been fine? Dragon stone scape looks tidy for a second attempt.

Tank owner replied

no nipping at all so far, the apisto mostly just patrols his corner near the dragon stone and ignores the tetras unless they swim right into his space. thanks on the scape, took a few tries digging through the LFS bin to get pieces that stacked without looking messy.
