Hit a rough patch with hair algae and some green spot on the glass, sand's got brown diatom patches too. Cut the photoperiod down for a few days to try to knock it back before doing anything drastic. Rock's mostly filled in at this point so it's annoying to see it covered in fuzz instead of coralline. Not panicking yet, just adjusting the lights and keeping up with water changes.

first fish day
Added a small group of blue green chromis today, bag was floating at the surface for a bit before I let them out. They shot straight for the rockwork and haven't really come out since, just a couple noses peeking out from the crevices. Coralline is starting to show up on the rock which is nice to see finally.

Still cycling, nothing to look at yet.

Water's in, Fluval 307 running, Eheim 600 pushing some flow across the rock. Set the Inkbird to keep it around 78 and hoping it holds steady the next few days before I trust it fully. Water's a bit hazy right now but rock still looks clean, just a little brown film starting on a couple spots.

setup day
Got the dry rock stacked today and honestly second guessing the whole thing. Keep moving pieces around trying to get some kind of arch or shelf but it just looks like a pile. No water in yet so still time to mess with it before it's permanent. Might just leave it and deal later.
