just noticed
The hygrophila pinnatifida finally pushed some new leaves out sideways over the wood. Barely visible before, now it's kind of the main thing I look at.

Swapped in the eheim jager today, box still sitting by the stand. Old one was getting unreliable with the temp. Tank's coming along nicely by now, carpet's finally spreading... Simple change but feels like a good one.
Added the endlers today. They went straight into the moss and hid for a good hour, then slowly came out and started picking at stuff on the spiderwood. No losses, everyone's swimming normal.
Two weeks in. Ammonia and nitrite still bouncing around, nitrates climbing a bit. Plants are tiny still, lots of bare substrate showing... Just waiting on the numbers to settle before anything goes in.
Filter's running, water's in... Just an empty tank right now and it's harder to sit with than I remembered.
Spiderwood placed, no water yet. Happy with the layout for now.
