Added the clownfish pair today, floated them in the bag for a bit then slowly added tank water in over like 20 min before releasing. Rock's got some coralline starting to show and a couple small frags in there now. Fish seem calm, already poking around the rockwork. Six line wrasse going in later once things settle more.
Ammonia finally dropping, nitrites still showing but coming down slow. Nitrates climbing a bit which is expected I guess. Testing every couple days at this point, nothing exciting to look at yet but the numbers are moving the right direction.
Filled her tonight, water's a little hazy still but that'll clear. Set the heater to 78 and left it there, don't wanna chase temp the first week. Filter's running, syncra is on, rock already has that faint brown film starting. No livestock yet, just letting it run.
Got the rock stacked how I want it, dry sand in, no water yet. Wife walked by and asked why I'm staring at an empty glass box lol. Told her give it a few months. Rock looks decent bare, hoping it holds up once it's flooded.
