Picked up the UNS Delta 60 to replace what I had, wasn't cheap but flow through the tank is noticeably better now. Wallet's a bit lighter this month for it.
Work's been eating all my time lately, tank's basically running itself. Quick glance each day, top off, nothing more than that. Plants seem fine with the neglect honestly.
Did the usual water change and a light trim on the vallisneria. Tested after, ammonia and nitrite both 0, nitrate around 10. Happy with where params are sitting right now.
Added the harlequin rasbora today, floated them in the bag for temp then added tank water gradually over about 20 minutes before releasing them. Schooled tight near the hardscape most of the evening, seem fine so far.
Water's clear now, still no fish, plants barely holding on.
Filled it today and got the canister running. Hazy from the substrate still, should clear in a day or two. Plants are tiny and sparse right now, you can see basically all the amazonia through the gaps. No fish yet, letting it settle first.
Spent longer on the stand level than I care to say, small shim under one corner fixed it. Hardscape is dry placed for now, no water in yet, just working out the angles before I commit to anything.
