Just an update, nothing major going on, but I'm honestly pretty happy with how this little tank looks right now. Everything's settled in, colors look good, fish are active. No complaints lol.

Compared to those early photos this thing looks totally different. Corals are still small but there's actual color on the rock now instead of just bare white, coralline is starting to spread in patches. Still some empty rock showing through but it's a lot further along than a couple months ago.

first fish
Made the trip to the LFS today, ended up grabbing a firefish goby to start things off. Bag's floating at the surface acclimating right now, only a couple frags on the rock so far and lots of bare space still. Small tank so I'm not rushing stocking, just wanted something in there finally.

cycle check
Two weeks in, tested everything today. Ammonia's dropping, nitrites still hanging around but coming down slow, nitrates creeping up like they're supposed to. Nothing to look at yet but numbers are moving the right way so I'll take it.

filled it
Got water in and the filter running tonight, still a little hazy but that's expected. Rock's showing that faint brown film already. Filter's got a bit of a gurgle to it, probably just air working through the lines, figure it'll quiet down once everything settles in. No livestock, just letting it cycle now.
