Carpet's almost fully in, sword's got some size on it now, shrimp are everywhere. Genuinely happy with how this one turned out for a 5 gallon.

Finally put the AI Prime 16HD on this thing, old light was cheap and dim and the monte carlo was clearly not happy about it. Should've upgraded months ago honestly, my bad.

Nothing to report, just watched the endlers zip around for like 20 minutes tonight instead of doing anything productive. Carpet's coming along nicely enough, moss thickening up too.

first fish
Added a small group of endlers today. Tank actually feels alive now instead of just a rock display. Probably staring at them more than is reasonable for a 5 gallon.

Two weeks in, ammonia finally dropping, nitrites still spiking hard. Nitrates climbing like they should. No fish yet, just waiting on the bacteria to catch up.

Filled it up and got the filter running, no plants or fauna in yet. Set the heater around 76-77, might tweak it once I actually add stuff. Just running empty for now.

Seiryu stone is not cheap, definitely spent more than I planned on rockwork for a 5 gallon. Hauled the bag of substrate up three flights of stairs too, my back is not thrilled. Hardscape's placed, no water yet, just rocks and dirt sitting there for now.
