day 130
Swapped the heater out for the fluval e200 and somehow made it more complicated than it needed to be. Cord was too short for where the outlet is so I ended up rearranging half the stand just to make it fit.

Not much going on, just noticed the shrimp have been hanging out on the same piece of moss for days now.
Had a friend over and they asked if the tank was always this full, which felt kind of funny since I remember when it was basically bare substrate. Moss and crypts have really taken off the last few weeks.
Getting some hair algae on a few leaves and green spot on the glass now. Pretty sure it's from me dosing a bit heavy while the plants were still catching up, not enough of them pulling nutrients yet. Annoying but not surprising honestly.
Added the first celestial pearl danios today, bag's floating up top right now. Kept checking on them every few minutes, worried the move stressed them out more than it should have. Carpet's still patchy with bare spots but having actual fish in there changes everything.
Still cycling, water's clear but completely empty otherwise. Checking params way more often than I need to at this point, just want something alive in there already lol.
Filled it up and got the filter running, water's still a little cloudy.
Spent way longer than planned just moving rocks around before settling on this layout. Wanted something with a clear path through the middle instead of just a pile in the back. No water yet, just eyeing it deciding if the angles are right lol.
