Looked at the tank tonight and just sat there for a bit, rock's basically covered now, zoas have spread out nice, the gobies hang out by their little caves like clockwork. No drama to report, just a tank that's doing what it's supposed to do. Kinda proud of this one honestly.
Note
new pump installed
Swapped in the new circulation pump today, box still on the floor, corals are looking pretty grown in already.

Note
one frag sulking
Everything's filling in pretty well except one of the monti frags, it's gone kind of pale and hasn't grown at all since I put it in. Rest of the rock is doing its own thing fine, just that one piece being difficult. Might be flow, might be placement, not sure yet.
Note
water change
Did the water change today and it took way longer than it should have, mostly because the hose kept slipping off the bucket. Tank's still pretty bare, just a few little frags glued down and a lot of open rock, but the fish don't seem to mind. Water level's a bit low mid-change in the photo, that's normal, topping off after.

Note
first fish in
Added the six line wrasse today and immediately started second guessing myself. Tank's barely a month old and this thing is already zipping through every rock crevice like it owns the place. Hoping the cycle really is done because I do not want to be doing an emergency water change this week. Watching it eat is the only thing keeping me calm right now.
Note
cycling
Two weeks into the cycle, checking params and waiting, pretty uneventful so far.
Note
filled it up
Water's in, filter running, nothing alive yet but it's official now.
Note
dry rock, kinda just starting out
Showed my wife the empty tank with just rock and sand in it and she asked when the fish were coming. Told her maybe october. She was not thrilled with that answer but here we are, rock's placed, sand's in, now it's just water and time.
