Just looked at it for a while tonight, corys were digging around in the substrate and the shrimp were all over the driftwood. Genuinely happy with how this one turned out.

Put in the Fluval E200 heater today, old one felt like it was struggling to hold temp.

Had a friend over and he said the plants actually look like a real aquascape now, not just sticks in gravel. Crypts are filling in and the pinnatifida finally has some new leaves coming in.

first shrimp
Added the green jade shrimp today, day 30. There's 6 of them and I can only really tell 2 apart so far. Named the biggest one Gary for no reason.

Guy at the fish store told me to just dose ammonia to like 2ppm and let it sit instead of using fish. Water's clear, nothing living in there yet, just letting the cycle run now.

filled it up
Filled the tank and started the filter, water's a little hazy still. Thought I had a leak cause the floor was wet but it was just splash from filling lol, wiped it up and nothing since.

Stacked the seiryu stone and driftwood today, no water yet. Moved it around probably 6 times and still not sure it's right. Might just fill it and see honestly.
