Tropic Marin · Supplementation
Phos-Start 75 g
Tropic Marin Phos-Start is a particulate nutrient supply for new reef aquariums, for use during the first 2-3 months of the cycling phase; contains natural marine biopolymers as bacterial food to stimulate the microbiome, plus particulate phosphate, calcium, and trace elements (iodide, fluoride, bromide) as fine particles, targeting nutrients without unwanted water-column increases. Ideal for tanks using dry rock or bare bottom; promotes coralline algae growth and prepares the aquarium to support corals including sensitive SPS. Start with 1 mL per 100 US gallons daily (mix in 200 mL aquarium water, pour into high-flow area, ideally when lights are off); double after four weeks if phosphate 0.05-0.15 ppm is not reached; max 4 mL per 100 US gallons; after 2-3 months, transition to Phos-Feed.
