BRS Bulk Biopellets
BRS Bulk Biopellets are made from 100% natural polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), a solid carbon source for denitrifying bacteria that reduces nitrates (and phosphates) to improve coral coloration, fish health, and algae control. They require a fluidized biopellet reactor with continuous tumbling and a protein skimmer to export the bacteria, with a recommended dose of 1 cup per 50 gallons of system volume; allow 4-8 weeks for the bacterial population to establish and top off from the 0.75, 1.5, 2.8, and 5.6 lb containers as pellets are consumed.
