ESV B-Ionic Calcium Buffer System is a two-part alkalinity and calcium solution used in equal amounts to maintain reef-aquarium chemistry and help replace ions lost through protein skimming. The package includes one gallon of each component; the recommended starting dose is 1 mL of each per four gallons daily, adjusted through regular calcium and alkalinity testing.
