The Yellow Goatfish (Parupeneus cyclostoma), also called the Yellowsaddle or Goldsaddle Goatfish, is distinguished by brilliant golden-yellow coloration from head to tail and sensitive barbels beneath its mouth for probing sand. It is peaceful toward similarly sized fish but preys on small benthic animals, needing a minimum 680-liter tank with soft sandy substrate, moderate care, and a protein-rich diet fed in several small daily meals.
