This unique color morph of the popular Amphiprion ocellaris clownfish has an orange base with 3 stripes of white edged in black, the irregularly shaped white middle stripe covering the majority of the body with a different pattern on each side, hence the name Snowflake. Captive-bred Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish are hardy and accustomed to home aquarium conditions, an excellent addition to almost any saltwater aquarium for novices and seasoned aquarists alike; they are easy to breed in the home aquarium, with females the largest of the pair, laying eggs on a flat surface that hatch in 8-11 days depending on water temperature, with fry reared separately on rotifers followed by baby brine shrimp; they are aggressive eaters that accept most meaty foods and frozen herbivore preparations.
