The Six Bar Angelfish (Pomacanthus sexstriatus), also called the Sixbanded Angelfish, is one of the largest marine angelfish, with a beige body marked by dark vertical bands, a white band behind the eye, and sapphire-blue spots; it can produce humming sounds when threatened. It needs a minimum 830-liter fish-only tank with extensive swimming space, moderate-to-advanced care, and frequent varied omnivorous feedings, and is not reef-safe since it nips at corals and clams.
