The Singapore Angelfish, also known as the Vermiculated Angelfish, resembles a butterflyfish in body structure; blue lips and a yellow nose abruptly change to a black mask band over the eyes bordered with thin yellow and wider white bands, with a primarily black body, brilliant sapphire-blue-outlined dorsal and anal fins, and a yellow or gray caudal fin. It is designated Difficult: provide a quietly located aquarium with non-aggressive tankmates and plenty of hiding places, at least 120 gallons with live rock for grazing; it nips at stony and soft corals and clam mantles, grazes on algae and diatoms, and should be fed mysis or finely shaved frozen shrimp and other meaty items.
