The Ruby Head Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura) is a stunning marine fish with vibrant coloration and graceful swimming; males display a striking ruby-red head transitioning into shades of blue and purple along the body, especially during courtship or dominance displays. Native to Indo-Pacific reef slopes and lagoons, it is a peaceful, active, carnivorous swimmer feeding on zooplankton, frozen foods, and small meaty diets, and is fully reef safe; it needs a minimum 150-liter tank with a secure lid since it is prone to jumping, plenty of swimming space and live rock for shelter, peaceful tankmates, and multiple small meals per day for best coloration.
