The Resplendent Anthias, also known as the Tierra Anthias or Resplendent Goldie, varies in color; females are predominantly orange with a pink/purple hue and yellow nose, dorsal, and tail fins, while males are predominantly orange with an almost clear tail and deep pink edges on the pectoral fins. It stays in the middle levels of the tank but requires plenty of caves, ledges, and hiding places; a 265-liter tank suits one fish, and a 473-liter or larger tank is needed for a group of one male and several females; feed frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, and flake foods in small quantities throughout the day.
