The Red/Orange Angler ranges from vivid red to deep orange and changes color to blend with its surroundings over time. It needs large amounts of live rock in a 20-gallon or larger aquarium; use live saltwater feeder shrimp to entice it to eat when first introduced, and note it may eat any small tank inhabitant lured by its esca (modified first dorsal spine), accepting most meaty meals including feeder fish.
