The Pygmy (Cherub) Angelfish (Centropyge argi) is one of the smallest and most vibrant dwarf angelfish available for marine aquariums, known for its deep blue body with bright yellow-orange facial markings; native to the Western Atlantic and Caribbean, it is active, hardy, and well-suited for smaller aquariums. It is an omnivorous grazer, feeding on algae, sponge, and small organisms, and accepts flakes, pellets, and frozen foods; it is active but can be territorial, so introduce last, provide a varied diet to minimize coral nipping, and keep only one per tank unless in a large system; it needs at least an 80 liter established aquarium with plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding, and is reef safe with caution, though it may nip at soft corals, LPS, and clam mantles.
