The Passer Angelfish, also called the King Angelfish, is predominately dark blue as an adult with a white vertical stripe extending from the dorsal fin, a yellow-rimmed dorsal fin, and yellow caudal and pectoral fins; juveniles are orange with one white and multiple blue stripes. It can grow to over a foot in length and requires at least a 250 gallon aquarium; it is hardy but can become aggressive, so keep with semi-aggressive tankmates; it grazes on live rock and will nip at stony and soft corals and clam mantles, so it is not a good reef candidate; feed Spirulina, marine algae, meaty items, and sponge-containing angelfish preparations at least three times daily.
