ORA Lemon Damsel
Pomacentrus moluccensis
Add from My tanks →1 photos
The ORA Lemon Damsel (Pomacentrus moluccensis) is one of the best beginner fish and a great candidate for nearly any reef aquarium; lacking most of the obnoxious personality of other damsel species, it stays quite small at just 3 inches and gets along with others in a variety of settings. Two young individuals will likely form a pair, and it has been housed in groups with Yellowtail Blue Damsels, Sapphire Damsels, and various clownfish species; feed crustacean meat and algae meals to maintain its bright yellow coloration, give it at least 20 gallons with live rock hiding spots, and it is reef safe with soft, LPS, or SPS coral.
