The ORA Kamohara Blenny (Meiacanthus kamoharai), from the shallow waters off southern Japan, is a venomous fang blenny whose juveniles are black with intricate white and electric blue lines, maturing into charcoal bodies with a minimal horizontal white stripe and spattered white dots on the face. Aquacultured fish readily take pelleted and prepared foods, and it is reef-safe and semi-aggressive, recommended for 30+ gallon tanks with a tight-fitting lid as they are known jumpers.
